Tangerine Quartz is a naturally occurring Quartz that contains a silicon dioxide mineral or inclusions of iron oxide, creating an orange to red colour. Most Tangerine Quartz come from Madagascar or from Brazil, where it was formed with water and Hematite. Hematite is an iron and it rusts when in water for long periods. The rust bonds to the surface of Clear Quartz, changing the colour to orange or red and its vibrations. Tangerine Quartz got its name from its colour.
