Pelargonium roseum

An Age Old Symbol of Love, Comforting & Forgiving

This rose-scented geranium resembles rose oil in many ways. In some studies rose geranium has been shown to reduce bacterial, fungi, and viruses that cause skin disease and infections.

• Enhances relaxation, offering pain relief both physically and emotionally
• Reputed to balance the skin’s natural oil production
• Helps minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, enhance circulation
• Aids in the reduction of varicose veins, thread veins, cellulite and dull skin and hair

Blends well with Chamomile and Geranium 

How to use:

• Bath: Mix 4-8 drops, 2-3 drops for children, in a carrier oil or dispersant, add to bath salts like Dead Sea Salts, bath water or to a hand or foot soak.
  
• Body Perfume: Add 2-3 drops to 10ml of pure water in a glass mister or to a carrier oil such as Jojoba or Grapeseed. Spray/dab on wrists, behind the ears or on any erogenous zones. Add 3-4 drops to our natural liquid deodorant for lymph support.
  
• Diffuse: Add several drops of oil to an aromatherapy diffuser or spray bottle of water.
• Hydrosol: Available as a hydrosol
• Hair Care: Add 5-8 drops to 120ml of unscented shampoo & conditioner.
• Inhalation: Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water, inhale deeply for 5 minutes. Place a few drops on a tissue or in the palms, rub hands together and then cup hands over the nose and take several deep breaths.
• Massage: Add 7-12 drops to 60ml carrier oil. Rub into stressed area.
• Perfume: 1 drop on the wrist will linger all day
• Skin Care: Add a several drops to 120ml unscented lotion & body wash. It is a great cellular rejuvenator. Recommended for wrinkles, dryness eczema and sensitive skin.

Important Notes : Avoid during pregnancy. A powerful essence to be used sparingly.
