Septarian starts as a mud ball on the seabed and splits into seven different points that radiates in all directions; that is how Septarian got its name, from the Latin word “septum” which means seven. Also known as Dragon Stone, it is one of the most beautiful and fascinating gemstones, as no two look the exactly the same. Septerian is formed from the minerals of Calcite (yellow), Aragonite (brown), Baryte (white), Chalcedony (grey) and at times Limestone (grey). These geodes are from Madgascar and were formed during the Jurassic period, around 160 million years ago. Other deposits are found in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Madagascar, Spain, and England. 

Septarian is believed to be very grounding and will help to manifest through the Solar Plexus. Spiritually, Septarian promotes an awareness that we are Spiritual Beings have a human experience and reminds us to take a more joyful approach to the experiences along the way.
