Agni Manitite, also known as the Pearl of Fire, is an exceptionally rare tektite discovered on the island of Java, Indonesia. Its color spectrum ranges from dark charcoal grey-black to a smoky translucent hue. The name "Agni Manitite" is derived from the ancient Sanskrit term "agni mani," translating to "pearl of the divine fire." These tektites were formed during a meteorite crash landing over the Indonesian archipelago, which heated the surface enough to liquidize it, resulting in the creation of a mineral from outer space. What adds to its rarity is that most Agni Manitite pieces are now underwater, making it extremely challenging to come by. Unlike Moldavite, which can be found by farmers plowing their fields, Agni Manitite remains one of the most elusive extraterrestrial stones.
