Also known as Stefilia's Stone, Dolphin Stone, Atlantis Stone, and Blue Pectolite. This opaque sky light blue, white, deep blue and green-blue gemstone often has white “clouds” shapes, and can only be found in the Caribbean. It is considered the specialty of the Dominican Republic. It is a rare variety of Pectolite that has a volcanic origin and is found in cavities within basaltic lava. It grows in needle-like crystals that occur in solid mass forms.  If exposed to too much heat or left in the sunlight over time, the gemstone will turn white. It is of the water element, therefore contains very calming and peaceful vibrations.
