Cerussite deposits have been found in Scotland, Sardinia, Austria, Czech Republic, Namibia and the United States.It is a lead carbonate gemstone. The meaning of its name relates an ancient Latin word 'Cerussa' meaning "white lead". The word Cerussa appeared in ancient Greek writings from as far back as 400 BC.

Their crystal configuration is commonly orthorhombic, twinned or as three crystals that form a star as well as occurring as record keepers. The colour may be almost transparent, brown grey, grey-black, and yellow.  Cerussite is toxic, due to its' lead content. It is best to use this crystal in a cloth bag, the bag is included with the crystal. Remember that you don't have to come into direct contact with this incredible stone to benefit from it.
