Chevron-Amethyst is a combination of White Quartz and Amethyst, mixed to form a chevron or striped pattern. It’s usually a beautiful lavender, purple colour with white bands. Chevron-Amethyst is also sometimes called Banded Amethyst or Dogtooth Amethyst.This stone can usually be found in India, Brazil, and Africa.

In terms of appearance, chevron amethyst typically displays alternating bands of deep purple amethyst and milky white or colorless quartz. These bands form distinct chevron or V-shaped patterns, giving the stone its name. The purple coloration is due to the presence of iron impurities in the quartz crystal lattice. Chevron amethyst often has a translucent to opaque appearance, and its surface may exhibit natural irregularities and fractures. Depending on the quality of the specimen, chevron amethyst can range from pale lavender to deep violet in color.
