Green Tourmaline, also called Verdelite, is a member of the Tourmaline family. Tourmaline comes in a multitude of colours which includes Elbaite (pink), Dravite (brown), Indicolite (blue to blue/green), Rubellite (red to deep pink), Purple or Lavender, and Watermelon (pink with green rind). It is found in many countries including Canada, Brazil, Africa and the USA.
Green Tourmaline may be transparent or opaque, ranging in shades from light olive green, yellowish green, brownish green, and light leek green to dark emerald.
Green Tourmaline is a gateway stone to the Devic realm (Nature Spirits) and provides beneficial influence to all things that live and grow. Place in the garden or in potted plants to promote growth.
