This beautiful bracelet is made of Larimar Nuggets. This opaque sky light blue, white, deep blue and green-blue gemstone often has white “clouds” shapes, and can only be found in the Caribbean. It is considered the specialty of the Dominican Republic. It is a rare variety of Pectolite that has a volcanic origin and is found in cavities within basaltic lava. It grows in needle-like crystals that occur in solid mass forms. If exposed to too much heat or left in the sunlight over time, the gemstone will turn white.
